The Triple Warmer’s Sound

The Triple Warmer regulates the temperatures of the three tan tiens and also balances the energies activated by all of the six healing sounds. It helps the entire system to relax more deeply.

Lie down or lean backward into your chair with your feet stretched out in front of you (fig. 5.23).

Smile into your three centers.

As you inhale, gather chi and raise your hands over your head. As you exhale, slowly bring your hands down in front of your body, moving the energy from your crown to your feet as you make the sound “hee-e-e-e-e-e-e.”

Feel the sound vibrating your three tan tiens as any excess heat flows toward the earth.

In the space that is created, rest and absorb cosmic energy. Feel your mind quiet and relaxed, connected with your body, emotions, and mind.

Practice the Triple Warmer exercise 3 or 6 times.
